Today was a day of empowerment. I sat in the middle of my room, surrounded by materialistic items that I have no use for- yet I have dragged them life step to life step, relationship to broken relationship- & today I let go. Today, for the first time ever, I look to my partner for comfort, guidance, & to help me begin a new chapter. Today I define myself by the goals I set & will reach because I am capable. Today I break loose from the chains of “security” & I am freed into a world of opportunities that my parents, my universe, & my God intended for me. Today I turn my letter of resignation in to a day job lifestyle that has consumed 40-60 hours of my week while I struggle to find time for friends, family, & my passion to help others. Today I quit the old Kate patterns. & as of April 18th, I will be Kate Hansel, Atlanta resident, fulltime photographer & artist. Thank you for your support ♥

My quote to live by. The closer I get to 30 the more I realize that I am accepting the choices & steps I have made to get where I am in life. To many it may be nothing special or spectacular. I could be farther along or farther behind. Some started to pursue their dream younger than I did, some have started later. But people need not feel sorrow or bound because they “got out of track” or feel as if they started pursuing their goals to late. Keep the end in mind, but do not drive so forcefully forward that you plow over the ones you love & miss the precious moments that life is really about. 

Focus. Progress. Allow yourself to feel the emotion & satisfaction of every day. Depend ultimately on yourself to get where you want to be, but if their are people who have proven themselves true in love & support, do not be afraid to let them walk beside you. Wishing you all the best success no matter what your age, circumstances, current situation & baggage that you may carry. Thank you for your continued support as I push forward to only become the best “Kate” I can be, & I only hope to provide you the same encouragement in return. Thank you ♥
